Data Driven Series

Connected vehicles are everywhere and the data that they provide is already shaping the world around us for the better; reducing congestion, emissions and accidents among other things. It can, however, sometimes be tough to wrap your head around how connected vehicle data works in practice and how it affects you.

That’s why we’ve created the Data Driven series.

This series explains exactly what connected vehicle data is and how it’s used to improve many aspects of our everyday lives. Each episode features the top cars from the biggest automakers, most of which are on Wejo’s platform and make up our supply base of over 50 million cars. In fact, Wejo ingests over 14 billion connected vehicle data points a day from the 10.7 million live cars on our platform!

Oli Webb and Adam Christodoulou, two of the World’s fastest racing drivers, execute a Data Driven Dare tailored to each of the vehicles, to test their capabilities. Then Richard Barlow, Founder & CEO of Wejo, takes them for a spin and talks through their connectivity features in-depth.

The dares are wide-ranging. There’s the Braking Bad dare, testing the Audi RS4’s harsh braking capabilities all the way to the Torque Wars dare, testing the Ford Shelby GT500’s acceleration.

It’s action-packed, it’s set to a scenic background and it informs you all about the mind-blowing potential of connected vehicle data; what more could you want?

New episodes are being released every Thursday - so settle in and press play – we dare you.
