Word from Richard
Hey everyone, thanks again for tuning into our Weekly Wrap.
Wow, what a busy week it has been! I’ll keep my note short, as there’s enough detail below to keep you busy, but I just wanted to say thank you to the team for all of the incredible work they’ve done this week.
We’ve presented at multiple conferences, panels and events as well as concluded the epic Data Driven Series all in one week.
Do read on below to find out more about what we’ve been up to this week and have coming up in the coming weeks too.
Richard.
Data Driven Series
We released the final episode of the #DataDrivenSeries this week – the German Special. This series has been really great for the team, because it has been so well received by everybody, but also because it was great fun to create!
But fear not, as there are still several pieces of #DataDriven pieces of content to come this month, and following the incredible response to this series, we’ll begin working on a follow up to share with you all!
If you missed the final episode, or any previous ones before that, they are all available on this page, or this YouTube playlist – enjoy.
Bloomberg Technology
Richard was invited onto Bloomberg Technology this week, to discuss all things Wejo, connected vehicle data and our recent announcement.
Emily Chang, Bloomberg Technology’s presenter, also asked Richard about the security of Wejo’s data, following recent cyberattacks, which he addressed head on by listing the robust security measures we’re very proud to have in place.
The interview is available to view on Bloomberg’s website, in case you missed it.
Baird 2021 Conference and 5th Annual Needham Tech conference
Similarly, Richard also presented at Baird’s 2021 Global Consumer, Technology & Services Conference and the 5thAnnual Needham Tech conference this week.
At both conferences, Richard took investors through Wejo’s offering, market opportunity and why he believes Wejo is best placed to lead the blossoming connected vehicle data market. For anybody looking to find out more about the investment opportunity at Wejo, these are ideal resources to do so.
Both conferences were recorded and are available to watch on Baird’s website and Needham’s website respectively.
TechCrunch Sessions: Mobility
Bret Scott, our VP of Partnerships, spoke at TechCrunch Sessions: Mobility this past week. In the session, he explored how local, state, province and federal government agencies can visualize traffic, crash and congestion conditions using connected vehicle data – curated from millions of connected vehicles.
With accurate, highly granular and unbiased unique journey data, government agencies can gain a deeper understanding of mobility trends and driver behavior to make truly data-driven decisions, support policy development and solve problems more effectively and efficiently.
