Wejo is heading to Los Angeles, California, from September 18-22 to exhibit at ITS World Congress, which brings together world leaders, practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and private businesses to advance the transportation industry.

We are attending this year’s event to help cities and towns across the U.S. better understand mobility trends and help ease congestion, improve road safety, and build a community that is fit for the future. Wejo provides accurate and unbiased journey data, curated from millions of connected cars, to help Local, State, and Federal Government departments visualize traffic and congestion conditions.

Join us at Booth 1954

Our team of experts will be onsite at Booth 1954 to provide attendees with information and demos about our Smart Mobility for Good™ tools and solutions. Stop by our booth to discover how to unlock a deeper understanding of mobility trends, make smarter more informed decisions, support policy development, and solve safety and climate related problems effectively for your towns and cities.

To guarantee a 1:1 session with one of our data experts, book a meeting with us while we’re at ITS World Congress.

Gareth Evans, Wejo’s VP of Sales (Public Sector), is participating in the special interest panel session, Emerging Technologies, Digital Infrastructure, and Evolving Data Sources: Driving Toward Vision Zero, on Wednesday, September 21 from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM.

Evans is participating in the panel alongside:

  • Anita Vandervalk, PE, PMP – Vice President, Iteris, Inc
  • Raj Ponnaluri, PhD, P.E, PTOE, PMP – Connected Vehicles, Arterial Management, Managed Lanes Engineering, Florida Department of Transportation
  • Erik Dietz – Senior Director of Business Development | Driving Data to Intelligence / Michelin Mobility Intelligence, Michelin
  • Laurie Berman – Retired Caltrans Director; Owner, Laurie Berman Consulting, LLC
  • Benjamin Thomas – CEO, EDJX
  • Jeffrey DeCoux – Chairman, the Autonomy Institute Accelerating the “Path to Commerce”, President/Chief Executive Officer – ATRIU

About the special interest session

The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) community fosters transformations in technology that drive to achieve worldwide Vision Zero. Given the rise of crashes involving all types of road users and the development of new, soft mobilities, there has been a proliferation of new technologies and applications of evolving data sources and infrastructures to provide improved road planning and management tools for maximum mobility and safety. Unfortunately, many of them are theoretical and research-oriented – what we need are practical applications that allow for improved decision-making.

This session will feature transformative solutions and use cases on this paradigm shift from reactive to proactive road safety that combines technology and data to provide proven results in saving lives. The esteemed panel speakers will highlight solutions that combine hardware, software, technology, and data to achieve Vision Zero. Each one will provide an overview of working use cases followed by a lively discussion regarding the importance of this topic and how we need to continue to transform the way we leverage ITS now and, in the future, to benefit the traveling public's safety.
