Our vision, investor information and leadership team profiles
Word from Richard
Hey everyone, welcome back to the tenth edition of the Weekly Wraps.
This week was a major one for Wejo, as we announced a partnership with Esri, the global leader in location intelligence. They will be using Wejo’s data to increase the power of their GIS system; further cementing our position as a leader in connected vehicle data working with the largest businesses in the mobility space. We’re both very proud of this partnership and look forward to what it will bring for both businesses.
Next week, we’ll also be releasing the first piece of content from our upcoming series exploring the connectivity of some of the top cars in the world, many from our OEM partners, so make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to not miss it!
Richard.
Partnership with Esri
This week, we announced a new joint solution with Esri, the global leader in location intelligence, which we’re thrilled about.
This deep partnership will augment the power of Esri’s geographic information system (GIS) technology, through our provision of an additional 8.6 trillion actual road data points from our nearly 11 million live connected vehicles.
We have had a relationship with Esri for some time now, having held Bronze status in the Esri Partner Network and attended its annual partner conference recently. This new, deeper relationship though, is a great step for all involved and we’re pleased to be in this position.
This is another major step for us, following our recent agreement with HELLA earlier this year, and signals the sorts of partnerships with global leaders in the mobility space that we aim to continue securing going forward.
