Word from Richard
Hey everyone, welcome back to another Wejo Weekly Wrap!
This week was really big for us, as we released the first episode of the much-anticipated Data Driven Series. The series is the end product following weeks of hard work from the team and our external partners, so we’re all very excited to see it released to the world and receive such a warm reception, thank you all.
The series was shot in Anglesey last month, with a host of big names in the automotive world involved, from content creators like Paul Wallace to professional drivers such as Oli Webb, a close friend of Wejo’s. We also had many of the top cars from the biggest automakers there to test their cars on the track.
I also feature in each episode, unpacking the cars’ connectivity features and talking through how Wejo works with the majority of the carmakers. All in all, the series is a wonderful summary of Wejo’s love of cars and action, but also the technical side of things and the importance of our relationships with these massive automakers across the globe.
Read on below for more information on the series and, if you happened to have missed its release yesterday, episode one is below for you to enjoy!

Data Driven Series
As Richard mentioned, we released the first episode of the much-anticipated Data Driven Series this week. This series explains exactly what connected vehicle data is and how it’s used to improve many aspects of our everyday lives; reducing congestion, emissions, accidents and more. Each episode features the top cars from the biggest automakers, most of which are on Wejo’s platform and make up our supply base of over 50 million cars.
Oli Webb and Adam Christodoulou, two of the World’s fastest racing drivers, execute a Data Driven Dare tailored to each of the vehicles, to test their capabilities. Then Richard takes them for a spin and talks through their connectivity features in-depth.
The dares are wide-ranging - there’s the Braking Bad dare, testing the Audi RS4’s harsh braking capabilities all the way to the Torque Wars dare, testing the Ford Shelby GT500’s acceleration.
It’s action-packed, it’s set to a scenic background and it informs you all about the mind-blowing potential of connected vehicle data; what more could you want?!
New episodes are being released every Thursday, with the first episode released yesterday down below. Enjoy!
