Key responsibilities

  • Ensure invoices, payments and receipts are entered onto Sage, where necessary post forex adjustments ensuring correct treatment.
  • Maintain and review ledgers regularly to ensure correct nominal and VAT coding is correct.
  • Expenses review and processing and posting in Sage.
  • Obtain and manage approvals process for invoices from relevant business budget holders.
  • Manage purchase order approval and issue process in a timely manner in line with company procedure and policy
  • Update regular payment list for the week for review with Assistant Treasury Manager.
  • Enter payments onto online business banking and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Reconcile all supplier accounts, highlighting any potential write offs to the Assistant Treasury Manager.
  • Monthly sales invoice processing.
  • Management of aged creditors and providing regular updates to Assistant Treasury Manager.
  • Management of credit control process and providing regular updates to Assistant Treasury Manager.
  • Monitoring schedule of monthly Accruals & Prepayments and posting in Sage.
  • Ensure processes for the business all above tasks are written and kept up to date.
  • Ensure list of login details for any wejo accounts is up to date.
  • Ensure generic accounts inboxes monitored and managed.

Skills & experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Motivated, great communication, flexible approach to work in a busy, dynamic team.
  • Good Excel skills (and willingness to develop these as needed)
